Tom Doak

Tom Doak is a world-renowned architect who has his fingerprints on many famous golf courses around the world. Using a minimalistic approach, Doak and his firm, Renaissance Golf Design, have created a countless number of courses including Pacific Dunes (OR), Ballyneal (CO), and The Renaissance Club (Scotland). In addition, Doak has led restoration efforts at places like Pasatiempo (CA) and Crooked Stick Golf Club (IN). Alongside his experience as a successful architect, Doak has written numerous books about golf course design.
