Do tour operators in AUS work similar to GB&I? Can they take over all planning including the securing of tee times etc. or is more work needed by the traveler?
I did a short visit to MEL in March for work and patched together a great long weekend of golf that was a ton of fun (KH; Yarra Yarra; Commonwealth; Sandy Links; St Andrew's Beach) but it was a lot of work and some places - Royal Melbourne, Victoria in particular - never got back to me.
Having been to Scotland with a tour operator I was wondering if they same type of "easy" experience was available in AUS.
Happy to meet other Fried Egg members in the area! I am 35, currently no kids. I'm a member at Chantilly National. Open to hosting or playing other courses in the area!
It is a solid home course. Nothing spectacular but good views, superior staff and the course is playable for a 20 like me but also challenges the top golfers. Love introducing it to others.
38, three kids, no interest in fighting but high interest in getting out there more than I do now. Lifetime DMV native with plethora of experience at all three DC munis, MCG courses, Urbana stretch + Norbeck CC.
What always shocks me when people merge the LIV and PGA tours back together in hypotheticals is how Matthew Wolff doesn't even exist anymore.
Also, really disappointed PJ didn't have the guts to offer a spot to Bernie Langer.
