Weekend Chat: Golf Lockers
Weekend Chat: Golf Lockers

Morning. We’re talking lockers today. Get on down to the comment section and then get some sleep this weekend, you’ll need it come Open Championship time.

Club TFE Housekeeping

Meg has the pro shop humming and just restocked our Coffee Golf Collection with additional long sleeves. Make sure to use code CLUBTFEMEMBER for 10% off.

If you missed it, I highly recommend tuning in to this month’s virtual hangout with Andy and guest Phil Cuffare from Oakland Hills. Not only does Phil share some great insights into the South Course renovation and what to expect in future championships, he also has some fun stories about the restoration process itself and working with Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner.

Your weekly question

Today’s header photo is of a sign that hangs in the Country Club of Troy locker room, a place that can carry a lot of importance at certain golf courses.

A Club TFE member recently reached out looking for help. “I’m trying to figure out how to set up my golf locker and Google suggestions have been worthless,” he wrote. “My current setup is wildly inefficient but adequate.”

So today’s question, what is the best way to organize a golf locker? Whether that be at your club or at home in your garage, what tips have you found to keep your space from falling into disarray?

About the author

Will Knights

Golf was a big part of my upbringing as I grew up with a PGA Professional as a dad. I went to the course with him in the morning, helped out in the pro shop, caddied, and ultimately played golf in college before helping out in the early days of Fried Egg. While I’ve been involved in many different aspects of our organization over the years, today you’ll largely find me at our events and helping our membership as our Community Manager. And while I love this position, my dream job will always be starting shortstop for the Chicago Cubs.
