Built in 1928 by Alister MacKenzie, Cypress Point explores one of the great natural sites for golf in the world, moving deftly between sandy meadows, pine forests, massive dune scapes, and finally the coastal cliffs of the Monterey Peninsula. Andy Johnson and Garrett Morrison are joined by Josh Pettit (Alister MacKenzie Institute), and Geoff Shackelford (who authored the book Alister MacKenzie's Cypress Point Club) to take us through the course as it prepares to host the 50th Walker Cup Match September 6th and 7th.

"I do not expect anyone will ever have the opportunity of constructing another course like Cypress Point, as I do not suppose anywhere in the world is there such a glorious combination of rocky coast, sand dunes, pine woods and cypress trees.
