How Can You Top That?

Yesterday at The Masters was one of the best days of major-championship action I can recall. We got intensely challenging conditions, complemented by a pitch-perfect course setup. We got Tiger willing himself to another unlikely made cut. We got the makings of a battle between Bryson DeChambeau, Max Homa, and Scottie Scheffler—three of the most compelling players in the game right now. We got Tyrrell Hatton thumbing his nose at the Green Jackets (again). And we got Zach Johnson telling the patrons at Amen Corner to eff off before hurling himself into a shambolic gaslighting effort. Highbrow and lowbrow, competition and content, artistry and farce—round two had it all.
