Club TFE Hangout (March 2023)

Hey, we didn’t have as many technical difficulties this time! I mean, we still had a lot… just not as many.

For this month’s Club TFE hangout, Garrett joined the crew from a literal closet in the Champions Retreat clubhouse. He shared observations on Rose Zhang’s sensational golf game as well as some unvarnished opinions on the quality of Champions Retreat’s Nicklaus and Palmer nines. After Garrett logged off to attend Zhang’s post-round press availability, the remaining group—Brendan, Will, Cameron, and Matt—discussed a variety of topics, including Joel Beall’s fascinating article on Augusta National’s plans for the future (which include a second 18-hole course and housing for players and media), what it likely took to build the new 13th tee at ANGC, and the virtues of Palos Verdes Golf Club, this week’s LPGA Tour venue.
