Justin Thomas seems to be speed training, showing off a 124.5 club head speed on Instagram this week. That would be 6.8 mph higher than his fastest career average. He could very well have a new gear in 2025, but his increased speed wouldn’t be a huge shock for his career arc. That got me thinking, what would the most startling/funny change in skill that a player could have from year to year? Let’s keep it within reason. Zac Blair isn’t showing up next year with 130 mph+ in the bag (no offense, Zac).
