Happy Saturday, ladies and gentlemen.

Next week, I’m bringing on a couple of special guests for this month’s Club TFE Virtual Hangout. Joel Beall (Golf Digest) and Sean Zak (Golf.com) are going to join me on Thursday for a chop session on St. Andrews and golf in Scotland. Sean spent a full summer there last year and wrote a book about his experience and Joel just finished up a stint on a similar mission. I’m exceedingly jealous of both. With the Women’s Open at St. Andrews fast approaching, now seemed like a great time to bring them both on and talk about golf in the Motherland. Both are very knowledgeable lads and I can’t wait to talk with them this week.

Golf was a big part of my upbringing as I grew up with a PGA Professional as a dad. I went to the course with him in the morning, helped out in the pro shop, caddied, and ultimately played golf in college before helping out in the early days of Fried Egg. While I’ve been involved in many different aspects of our organization over the years, today you’ll largely find me at our events and helping our membership as our Community Manager.
