I would definitely do a midweek afternoon round. Daylight savings definitely pushes things a bit earlier for the start. Propose a few dates that work for you Beau. Happy with either course.

Same, in fact I'm planning to get a hotel (I've got a free night to use up) in Livermore and play back-to-back days there. Son played the revamped Poppy Ridge earlier this year and gave it high praise. Some dates I'm considering - let's see if any of these would work for a few of us: Nov 11/12 (Tue/Wed) Nov 14/15 (Fri/Sat) Nov 16/17 (Sun/Mon) Nov 18/19 (Tue/Wed) Dec 2/3 (Tue/Wed) Dec 5/6 (Fri/Sat)

Garrett Morrison, 41, two kids, mildly interested in fighting over niche obsessions. I live in Happy Valley, don't play a lot of golf when home, have been struggling with back issues recently. But I serve on the Portland golf advisory committee, so I make sure to get out to Eastmoreland, Rose City, Heron Lakes, and other city munis fairly regularly. Been contemplating a membership at Arrowhead. The next several days look BRUTAL for golf in PDX. Winter appears to have come, unfortunately.

Had a great time on the Fried Egg minneapolis trip this year and was an absolute blast to see how deep the golf scene in the area is! I have to get back again soon!

Big wine guy here Drew and a big Burlington foodie as well. 1) Going with what I've drunken that has surprised: Had a great Regeneration 6 Pet nat from Ellison Estates here in vermont that I had been saving for a few years. So good. Need to get more wine terrior/GCA adjacent discussions going! 2) Hen of the Wood is an easy favorite in town, but May Day is a favorite as well 3) As a true central Pennsylvanian by birth, gotta go with what we call dippy eggs!

Steven said it really well. There are a handful of city park courses with their own fun quirks (but manage your expectations on conditions). BJ is always in good shape and gives you a handful of fun and challenging shots regardless of which direction it’s running. It’s pretty wide open but there are some tricky lines in spots and the greens are pretty fun.
