Spent 3 years living in Austin, would be interested to hear what people think are the local design disasters! Thought there were some meh/over hyped places, but all in all I thought it was a solid golf scene. Know a lot of people would call 7 at Forest Park a design disaster, but I kinda liked the quirk of it.

Fazio sure doesnt get 0 eggs from me. Im a massive fan of old school thoughts from Ross, Raynor, CB and more recently, doak. However, Fazio has an excellent design quality in a class of his own. River Course, Kiawah Island Club is an absolute gem. The use of land in between the marsh and river is a sight to behold. If you get the offer to play there... it has to be an immediate yes.

Oh yeah, I heard about that reno. I play most of my rounds around here at Gateway National or Pevely Farms, but play pretty much all over. I’m 37 with a two year old, so kicking the tires on a membership somewhere before I turn 40
