Thanks for sharing Bryan! Would love a itinerary if you have one sitting around. I love palm springs and there's definitely tons and tons of options there + Indio. Definitely a good late spring spot to consider.

Sedge Valley would be my vote as well. Fantastic setting and the effort to make minimal disturbances to the ground in construction paid off big time. The second time I played it I noticed how many fun shots and strategic decisions the course calls for. You make very memorable up and downs and birdies.

Old Town is a wonderful golf course and like Tom I'll admit it's better than Reynolds Park. I'd love to see RP restored to make it more of a fair fight. My favorite hole at Reynolds Park is the 13th. It took me several rounds to figure out the right way for me to play it. Anyone else played there? What was your favorite hole?

Walnut is definitely high in our group's rotation. Would love to see the Egg crew out there sometime.

Wow bold claim. I've been to Coal Creek which has some interesting holes and greens. Heard a few recommendations for Walnut Creek but never this highly regarded. I'll have to check it out soon. I think Riverdale Dunes is #2 in town behind Commonground.

40, 2 kids, no interest in fighting. We live in the city so it’s tough to get out as much as I’d like. I had a similar introduction to architecture, except mine was through Lawsonia. It wasn’t my home course, but I played it multiple times a year in high school matches and other tournaments. I always knew it was unique but didn’t recognize how special it was at the time. It was a blast going back for a Fried Egg event 20 years later with a new appreciation for the course!

It's great, worth the drive out from San Diego....but it's a drive, I think at least 90 minutes from San Diego or Palm Springs, and not a fun one if you are hungover or get carsick. there's two other courses or three out there, I think the Country Club allows public access at some point and I'm not sure if the other two courses are still operating. The drive makes you inclined to do a 2nd loop.
