August 2025 FEGC Virtual Hangout Recording

Golf, Movies, Golf Movies, TV, Golf TV, and a chat with a Curb Your Enthusiasm Character

Written By

Ladies and gents,

It's not every day you have someone who has coached Larry David join you for a chat. We were lucky to have Jimmy Fahselt join this month's hangout for a wide-ranging show business chat. Along with Garrett and Parker, the four of us talk through trends in the movie and TV industry, the recent fixation on golf, detail our thoughts on Happy Gilmore 2, and finish up by diving into each of our five favorite sports movies. Enjoy!

Will Knights

Golf was a big part of my upbringing as I grew up with a PGA Professional as a dad. I went to the course with him in the morning, helped out in the pro shop, caddied, and ultimately played golf in college before helping out in the early days of Fried Egg. While I’ve been involved in many different aspects of our organization over the years, today you’ll largely find me at our events and helping our membership as our Community Manager. And while I love this position, my dream job will always be starting shortstop for the Chicago Cubs.
