Beau Scroggins and I had the chance to lead a Fried Egg Golf Club trip to SW Ireland this spring and were completely taken by Lahinch Golf Club. With the 2026 Walker Cup right around the corner, we wanted to talk to a Lahinch expert. So for this month's FEGC Hangout and Podcast, we brought on friend of the program and Lahinch member Barry O'Mahoney. Barry grew up just east of Lahinch and played the course as a kid before joining as a an international member as an adult. He now lives in Chicagoland but still frequents Southwest Ireland. This chat is filled with course insight, a hole-by-hole breakdown, and some local knowledge about what pubs to visit while in town.
