Hello all,
Good to see everyone didn't melt in this week's heat. Although next week brings a new battle. With Collin Morikawa continuing to make news, it's time to talk about athletes and their relationship with the media. Get on down to the comment section and weigh in.

This Week's Question
Collin Morikawa seems intent on keeping his name in the news. This week, he had a spat with Golfweek's Adam Schupak after Schupak requested a comment during Morikawa's pro-am round at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The back and forth was a bit much for me. Morikawa seems to be of a new wave of younger athletes that doesn't understand the importance of media and the value that can be gained by both sides for an athlete having a good relationship with a media member. But that's my opinion.
What is your sense about the Morikawa situation and the modern day relationship between professional athletes and the media? Is there still value in having media members on site? Should it just be on the athletes to communicate with the public directly? Let me know what you think.
Have a great weekend!
