It's a bit like England more than Scotland or Ireland. They allow visitors from outside Victoria, but a bit more complicated than Scotland or Ireland booking. There are some good public options down on the Mornington Peninsula and some lower ranked courses in Sandbelt like Woodlands that are amazing are a bit easier to book, but for RM, Kingston Heath, Victoria, Peninsula Kingswood, etc., you still often need to email in or use the online forms.

The pool scene is a bonus for the CC family life. We have made some great family friends. We lose the course Monday so I'll let you know when I have a window. I'll try and figure out a way to DM you my number. I would love to do more TFE events. I did Prairie Dunes this year and had a blast. Great course and awesome people.

Hen of the Wood menu looks INCREDIBLE. Looks like it pulls a lot of French Canadian influence - my absolute favorite way to showcase New England regionality. I can’t convince my wife to travel so I can play golf, but I know she would travel for a meal there. Holy cow. “Dippy eggs” is a new one for me, and I gotta say, I’m into it. I have to assume you’re having it with scrapple too, right??

How would Lukas handle intra-Australia or intra-Melbourne travel and logistics? Stay near the CBD and commute down to the Sandbelt courses? Try to stay as near to the Sandbelt courses as possible? Something else? (I know that Victoria previously had on-site lodging but I believe that it's no longer available and PK has on-site lodging but it is very expensive). If applicable, what would you tell people about renting a car and driving in Australia? Similarly, it's easy to be quickly overwhelmed with all the great golf in the Sandbelt and most people taking the trip with want to play Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath, etc. Could you elaborate on some of the "lesser known" courses like Commonwealth, Woodlands, and others?

As a former Chicago-area resident, I can't call it real winter, but I would argue that it is even less pleasurable than real winter

Grew up in Mechanicsburg and come back to visit family a few times a year! We should rename this carton the "please don't turn my golf course into a data center"-carton with recent news!
