Bay Area Carton

Hi Everyone, thanks for starting this. 39, 2 kids, only interested in fighting out-of-hand greens speeds. Dig holes and draw pictures for a living. East Bay-based, play a lot of golf on the road and places I've worked at in the area, but hoping to make Poppy Ridge a semi-regular thing when home, which probably (ambitiously) translates to about 4-5 rounds a year. Most of my "regular" golf locally is a quick range session at Skylinks (Buchanan) or Tilden while out doing other errands. Would love if some meetups helped pushed me into a bit more actual golf.

(Currently) tortured LSU alum married to a UGA bulldog family. We have a healthy respect for each other's teams and a healthy distaste for the school in Tuscaloosa. Real duality of "this is terrible" and "I have accomplished so much" when I scrambled to sign up for the most advanced ESPN plan last Saturday morning.

Here's your third recommendation for Task. I am strangely both a Prestige TV snob and a sucker for some very basic reality TV. Prestige is great when I have the time (or energy with the kiddo) and the reality stuff is easy watching. Survivor and Big Brother are my guilty pleasure watches there, along with less-guilty GBBO. Some of my favorites in recent years: Silo (Apple), Severance (Apple), Better Call Saul (believe Netflix has it now?), Tokyo Vice (HBO), and Dept Q (Netflix).

That's a great story! I have to withhold my thoughts on the U's current administration at risk of (1) going on a 10,000 word screed and (2) losing my mind. :)

I honestly do love a good competition show. Do I love The Great British Bake Off? Yes! Do I love Baking Impossible? Yes! Seems like I have an affinity for baking... haha! But I will check this one out. Thanks for the recommendation.

Four seasons. It's good. I'd also vouch for Task, which @peterm recommended.
