Due to some scheduling changes we had to push our October Virtual Hangout into the first week of November but it's going to be one you won't want to miss.

We were really excited to unveil our Hole Design Contest alongside Andy Staples and the team at Ace Valley. More than 100 of you sent in submissions and the committee of Andy Staples, Andy Johnson, and Garrett Morrison has been sifting through them in recent weeks. Next week, on November 5 at 1:00 ET, we are going to do a live review of what they have deemed as the semifinalists. They will determine the finalists on the recording, and we will have the FEGC Community decide on the winner that will ultimately be built at the resort.

Golf was a big part of my upbringing as I grew up with a PGA Professional as a dad. I went to the course with him in the morning, helped out in the pro shop, caddied, and ultimately played golf in college before helping out in the early days of Fried Egg. While I’ve been involved in many different aspects of our organization over the years, today you’ll largely find me at our events and helping our membership as our Community Manager.
