Paulie’s Picks: 2026 Farmers Insurance Open

The PGA Tour stays in Southern California this week at Torrey Pines for the opening act of the Brooks Koepka Redemption Tour, formerly known as the Farmers Insurance Open. Players once again will face multiple courses as the first two rounds will be split between the North and South courses at Torrey Pines before the weekend rounds are held exclusively at the beastly South Course. This is one of the best ball-striking tests on Tour each year. You simply can’t fake your way around here. You need to be elite off the tee, hit the ball high on approach, and be able to scramble for par around difficult green complexes. Let’s take a look at three ball-strikers to target this week:

Keegan Bradley: Top 40, -137

Keegan Bradley has been a model of consistency when it comes to Torrey Pines. He has finished 43rd of better in 12 of his 15 starts here. He fits the course very well as he is an elite driver of the ball who can hit it high. On top of that, he’s got a great short game, ranking eighth on Tour in Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green in 2025.

Will Zalatoris: Top 40, -120

Will Zalatoris is finally back healthy and is providing some value as he regains his form. Off a solid top-20 finish at the AmEx, he now heads to one of the best course fits for him on Tour. Let’s not forget that back when he was at full health, he actually led the Tour in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green. So it makes sense that Zalatoris would have success on one of the most demanding courses on Tour. He has finished 24th or better in four of his last six starts here.

Tony Finau: Top 40, +225

If there ever is a buy-low spot on Tony Finau, this week is it. Yes, he has struggled mightily over the last year, but this price correction has gotten a bit out of control. He hits the ball far off the tee, can hit his irons high, and is above average around the green. He has finished 24th or better in 10 of his 13 appearances at these courses.
