Weekend Chat: 2026 Events Are Upon Us

It's been a minute! Hope you all are doing well.

I've been on the road for a little over three weeks at this point, criss-crossing the country with Fried Egg Golf Club members and our FE Event participants. I've seen more than a dozen courses, visited Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Maine, and Michigan, and had countless amazing interactions with so many of you. It's been a rewarding (and hectic) itinerary but one I'm thrilled that we're able to offer up to all of you.

Amidst all this travel, we have announced the first batch of 2026 FE Events —Streamsong and Pinehurst are already available for registration —and we'll be releasing details on the rest in the coming weeks and months. And while I'm having plenty of conversations about these in person, I would love to see what's on your mind as it comes to FE Events and our FEGC trips.

So for today's Weekend Chat, I'm using a bit of a different format. No housekeeping, no other notes. I just want to hear what questions you all have, see if I can address any concerns, and hear what other courses/areas of the country you all are hoping to see on the calendar. Any and all questions, random thoughts, or wishes are welcomed and appreciated.

It's been a hell of year for us in 2025 and we can't wait to get started on 2026. Lots to come but let's dive in!

Golf was a big part of my upbringing as I grew up with a PGA Professional as a dad. I went to the course with him in the morning, helped out in the pro shop, caddied, and ultimately played golf in college before helping out in the early days of Fried Egg. While I’ve been involved in many different aspects of our organization over the years, today you’ll largely find me at our events and helping our membership as our Community Manager. And while I love this position, my dream job will always be starting shortstop for the Chicago Cubs.
