In the golf content industry (FEGC, NLU, Barstool, GOOD GOOD etc) we have seen something close to the following progression: blogging to podcasting, podcasting to merch, merch to YouTube content, YouTube content to live events, live events to tailored golf trips. What do you think is the next big wave of revenue generation these new golf media companies will enter? I see a LIV and PGA coming to the table with the YouTubers and podcasters. Curious to hear how far you think that can go and what else outside of professional golf partnerships will be something you and your peers dive into.

KVV, I was ecstatic to see that you've joined FEG. Been reading your work for several years and have long drawn inspiration from you for when I do my own writing. Can't wait to see what you do in the midst of the yolk. I have a serious question and a non-serious question. Serious: You're one of a few golf journalists I can think of who's left a "big media brand" like ESPN for an independent media company in the last few years. Do you think this is a growing trend in all sports of writers leaving "Big J Journalism" or is it just a blip on the map that happens to be golf-heavy? Unserious: Who is one athlete's voice you've tried to do an impression of that you cannot get and refuse to even attempt on airwaves?

Finkbine sent those of us on their email list the news that Hoffman had been selected to architect the redesign last week, but they did not mention in said email how extensive it was going to be, i.e. "Only two holes will really be recognizable to what they were before." Should be real interesting to see what the make of the land. I think I’ve commented this every time Woodhill has been mentioned, but I will say it again: I love Woodhill and think it flies far under the in the MSP golf scene (at least partially on purpose). I can’t wait to see what Brian Schneider does to it.
