Can't promise anything based on what the future may hold but there are a few that we plan to return to as long as they'll have us. Sand Valley, Bandon, Lawsonia, Kingsley, and Essex (Boston) being chief among them. We're hoping to create somewhat of a rotation from there and rotate in hosts!

Culver Academies Golf Course

I've been an avid follower of Michael's stewardship adventures at Culver, so this acknowledgement by Fried Egg Golf is such a pleasure to see... has to be to be one of the most fascinating & best golf course archaeology stories in golf history? Hopeful, instructive & inspirational for all who are attempting restoration work. Great course profile (Matt) and wonderful to see 3 Eggs!!!

If helpful, Sand Valley has been a yearly event I think since Club TFE started. Kingsley, Essex and Lawsonia have also been yearly events IIRC but with way golf landscape changing, who knows if will stay the same! Hopefully Yale come back as a yearly event!

Dunhill Links Robert Macintyre Dustin Johnson

Is there anyone better at the golf "game story" than KVV? The HWW of our time? Watching Dustin Johnson this week at the Dunhill I was thinking a lot of the same things expressed in this story. I am so happy KVV part of The Fired Egg now. TFE has become my go-to for all things golf. Keep up the good work.

Any chance you return to MN in 2026? I was too late signing up this year...

Excited to see what all you have in-store for 2026! I'm new to the FEGC but have dove heavily into the different podcasts over the last year. Hoping to sneak out to an event sometime this coming year!

Shinnecock Hills Golf Club

George Bahto claims that holes 1, 2, 3 and 7, 8, 9 remain from the Raynor/Macdonald course. When we were there the club told us it was just holes 3 and 7 that remain from Raynor and Macdonald's course. Maybe that means those holes weren't changed by Flynn and the others noted on Bahto lists were changed but remain in the same corridor. I snapped a picture of a plan dated 1893 in the clubhouse. I added it to the image gallery. I'm sure there is a plan of Raynor's routing out there somewhere. One key about the transition from Raynor/Macdonald to Flynn is that the dramatic land where holes 10-13 play was purchased for the Flynn redesign.
