Any chance you return to MN in 2026? I was too late signing up this year...

Excited to see what all you have in-store for 2026! I'm new to the FEGC but have dove heavily into the different podcasts over the last year. Hoping to sneak out to an event sometime this coming year!

George Bahto claims that holes 1, 2, 3 and 7, 8, 9 remain from the Raynor/Macdonald course. When we were there the club told us it was just holes 3 and 7 that remain from Raynor and Macdonald's course. Maybe that means those holes weren't changed by Flynn and the others noted on Bahto lists were changed but remain in the same corridor. I snapped a picture of a plan dated 1893 in the clubhouse. I added it to the image gallery. I'm sure there is a plan of Raynor's routing out there somewhere. One key about the transition from Raynor/Macdonald to Flynn is that the dramatic land where holes 10-13 play was purchased for the Flynn redesign.

It's such a special place. I was fortunate to attend summer camp at Culver back in the mid-90s and the amount of work that's gone into restoring the course is truly remarkable. It's almost unbelievable that this land exists in northern Indiana. The course is an absolute blast to play.

Really enjoying your stories, Kevin. Both these guys are interesting characters & quite likable for their differences. I’m thinking MacIntyre ends up with many more career wins than Dustin? The guy is a warrior. Dustin is a wonderful athlete, but I’d be surprised to see him get another win, especially a major?

Hi Will - thanks for putting together an awesome event schedule last year. I'm looking forward to the full 2026 rollout. Question - are you able to indicate which events are or are likely to become annual affairs, especially the multi-day ones like Sand Valley? I'd love to attend most of the outings, and knowing in advance which might be a one-time opportunity versus likely having a chance to attend in 2027 or beyond would help shape which ones I sign up for this year.

Does there exist plans of the Macdonald / Raynor course before the changes? That would be cool to see. Lucky enough to play here in May 2018, just before the U.S. Open….best course I’ve ever played. Felt as though the holes are just draped over the land. It all just seemed so simple. Think about that day often.

I guess I should expand on that nebulous definition… any clubs that aren’t on any Top 100 type lists, not necessarily because they aren’t good enough but don’t chase those sorts of accolades? I’m thinking in the vein of FEGC profiled courses like Roaring Gap, Country Club of Troy, Hyannisport, etc

Missed out on attending an event this year but hopeful to be back in 2026. Any hosts this year that would be considered “under the radar” or a “hidden gem”?

I've been reading KVV since his Baltimore Sun days and have greatly enjoyed his writing for The Fried Egg. Can he make regular podcast appearances in the future?
