Key Holes to Watch at Riviera at 2026 U.S. Women's Open
Take a closer look at next week's U.S. Women's Open host

While some of George C. Thomas and William P. Bell’s work has been lost in recent decades, Riviera Country Club remains one of the most fascinating examples of Golden Age golf architecture, and it's under the spotlight once again as host of the 2026 U.S. Women's Open.
This year marks the first time Riviera will host a women’s major. The famous Los Angeles club has previously held the 1948 U.S. Open, the 1998 U.S. Senior Open, the 2017 U.S. Amateur, as well as the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1995. In the future, it will host the Olympic Games in 2028 and the 2031 U.S. Open.
Ahead of the U.S. Women's Open, Fried Egg Golf's Meg Adkins was joined by former LPGA caddie Matthew Galloway (Michelle Wie West, Angel Yin) to take us through what they think could be some of the key holes to watch at Riviera.
