Format

Two-person, 36-hole team competition. The team with the lowest scores in Net and Gross throughout the day will win prizes from Fried Egg Golf and our partners. The scores combine your best ball and alternate shot scores. Participation is not required. If you'd like to hangout and play golf for the day, you are more than welcome to do so.

Course Information

Moraine Country Club - Simply put, Moraine Country Club is a stunner. Campbells original design was expertly restored by Keith Foster in the 2010s and now possesses a wide array of demands. With wide corridors, amazing green complexes, and a unique property, Moraine is a must see in an underrated golf state.

Scioto Country Club, June 7, 2026 - Tee times at approximately 11:00 a.m. for $350/player plus mandatory walking caddie. We have just six spots available at Scioto so these spots will be awarded to FEGC members via a lottery system. Entries will be accepted for 24 hours and winners announced on January 29. Host of a U.S. Open, Ryder Cup, and PGA Championship, Donald Ross's Scioto Country Club is a historic club located just northwest of Columbus, Ohio. The course was restored by Andrew Green in 2021, bringing back the Ross character and one of the Midwest's great championship venues.

NCR South Course, June 9, 2026 - Tee times from 9:00-9:20 a.m. for $425/player - Host of the 1969 PGA Championship and five USGA championships, the South Course at NCR Country Club has a storied championship history. It's a demanding course with huge greens and elevation changes. Rate includes cart if you want to ride. Walking caddies can also be arranged if requested.

NCR North Course, June 9, 2026 - Tee times from 9:00-9:20 a.m. for $375/player - On the other end of NCR's property is another course that should not be overlooked, and in fact will be in terrific shape in 2026 as it reopens from a renovation project by Jim Nagle. The North Course occupies a great property but had lost its luster over the years. Following a renovation, it will be a far more complete golf course and one worth seeing while in the area. Rate includes cart if you want to ride. Walking caddies can also be arranged if requested.

Get a Steak - Rarely does this section mention old-school steakhouses, but Pine Club is deserving of a mention. Just minutes away from Moraine, Pine Club is as unique a meal as you'll find on a Fried Egg Golf trip. Plus, you can swing up to Graeter's afterwards for some dessert.

Grab a game - For those sticking around town for an extra night, swing over to see the Dayton Dragons, the Cincinnati Reds High-A Affiliate. There's nothing like a night at a minor league park.

Travel Information

AIRPORTS - Dayton International Airport (DAY) is the closest option (20 mins) but John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) are also just 90 minutes from Moraine Country Club.

HOTELS - There are many to choose from around Dayton. The Holiday Inn Express and Courtyard - University of Dayton are close by and the AC Hotel in downtown Dayton isn't far

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an FEGC member to sign up? Nope! Fried Egg Golf Club members have 24 hours of early registration but everyone is welcome to enter our events. If an event is full, toss your name on a waitlist and we'll fill as people need to drop out.

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

How many spots can I reserve? - Each FEGC member can reserve up to two spots during early registration. Public registrations can reserve up to four spots.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

Can women enter? - Of course! When we said anyone and everyone we meant it.

What is your refund policy? - Refunds can be requested up to 30 days out of the event. Your registration will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee
