A total of 48 spots are available on this trip. There are 16 Single Occupancy Spots and 32 Double Occupancy spots available. We will offer the opportunity to sign up for one or two players with Single Occupancy, Two players with Double Occupancy, and one player with Double Occupancy (you will be paired up with another participant).

Itinerary

June 28, 2026

11:00 a.m. - Arrivals and check in to lodges

1:00 p.m. - Practice round tee times - Our first day on site will be a practice round for the big show on Monday. Prairie Dunes is a spectacular golf course, but one that requires some scouting in order to know where to go. Perhaps more importantly, you'll want to know where not to go.

7:00 p.m. - Welcome dinner - Following our first lap of the course, we'll convene in the Maxwell Room of the clubhouse for a private group dinner. We are hand selecting the menu for every meal on site so we'll have a wide array of options for everyone. Our welcome dinner will include all the club's finest and plenty of drinks to go around.

Evening - Half the fun of being at Prairie Dunes is enjoying the experience. On a summer evening, under dark skies, there's nowhere better. Grab a drink in the Card Room or head out to the fire pits to enjoy a peaceful evening and get to know the others on the trip. The fun starts in the morning.

June 29, 2026

7:00 a.m. - Breakfast opens and practice facilities available

8:00 a.m. - First round tee times - Everyone will have a tee time off either No. 1 or No. 10 and will play the first of two rounds of the day. Play fast. Play well. But play fast.

Noon - Lunch - In between rounds, everyone will head in for some grub to refuel ahead of the afternoon round. The bar will also be open.

1:30 p.m. - Second round tee times - You will tee off the opposite nine that you started on in the morning. Second round tee times will begin five hours and 30 minutes after your first round.

7:00 p.m. - Closing dinner - After a big day, we'll gather back in the clubhouse for another big dinner and hand out our awards. We expect many shouts of "cheers" and plenty of laughs to celebrate a great trip.

Evening - As with night one, you'll have time to spend the evening as you please. We suggest under the stars or on the club's putting green.

June 30, 2026

7:00 a.m. - Breakfast available in the Card Room - Grab a bite to eat before heading out.

9:00 a.m. - Departures - Take one last peek at the dunes on the way out.

Format

This event will be a 36-hole team best-ball competition with Sunday's round serving as a practice round. Since we will be the only people on the golf course on Monday, we will have a lot of say in setup decisions and the ability to truly show off a wonderful golf course. Prizes will be awarded for both net and gross divisions. Singles will be paired up with someone of similar skill so everyone feels comfortable.

Its green complexes are among the most interesting in the world and the routing's use of it's natural environment, including the wind, creates a stunning test of golf. Travel Information

AIRPORTS - Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport (ICT) is the closest airport to Prairie Dunes, just one hour door-to-door. Prairie Dunes is also an easy drive from many metro areas. Oklahoma City (3 hours), Tulsa (3 hours), Kansas City (3.5 hours), Omaha (4.5 hours), and Dallas (6 hours) are all within reach.
LODGING - All participants will be staying on site during the Prairie Dunes event. It is required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

Are we walking or using carts? - We *highly* recommend walking Prairie Dunes if possible. It is a terrific walk that allows you to full appreciate the golf course. That said, carts are included in the registration fee and can be used if you'd like to use them for a round or two.

Can women enter? - Of course! When we said anyone and everyone, we meant it.

What is your refund policy? - Refunds for the Prairie Dunes trip will be issued when your spot is filled on the waitlist. Your registration will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee
