Format

Two-person, 36-hole team competition. The team with the lowest scores in Net and Gross throughout the day will win prizes from Fried Egg Golf and our partners. The scores combine your best ball and alternate shot scores. Participation is not required. If you'd like to hangout and play golf for the day, you are more than welcome to do so.

Course Information

Tamarack Country Club - Designed by Charles Banks, Seth Raynor's protege, Tamarack Country Club is as bold as they come. The course was recently restored by Brian Schneider, allowing its teeth to come back in full force. With huge features, eye-popping design, and numerous paths on every hole, this is a Golden Age design that everyone should see.

Silver Spring Country Club - July 21 - Tee times organized beginning at 10:00 a.m. for $375/player. Also fresh off a restoration by Brian Schneider, this Charles Banks/Robert White design is going to turn heads in 2026. Its expanded corridors, above ground features, and eye-popping green complexes will make you wonder why you haven't heard more about it.

Shorehaven Golf Club - July 21 - Tee times organized beginning at 1:00 p.m. for $350/player. Designed by Willie Park Jr. and Robert White, Shorehaven was recently renovated by Blake Conant. The new design focuses on fun, and with its setting along the water it's a great place to spend a day.

Dodgers v. Yankees - Want to see two MLB powerhouses while you're in town? Shohei Ohtani and the two-time defending World Series champions will be in the Bronx for a weekend series against the Yankees leading into our event.

Explore New York City - There are endless things to do in NYC so we won't attempt to give you too many options, but whether you want to walk through Central Park, see the tourist spots, or visit the neighborhoods, the city is extremely accessible from Tamarack and makes for an easy trip.

Travel Information

AIRPORTS - Those flying in can use any of the NYC area airports with LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) are the large airports with the best access to Tamarack CC. You may also be able to find a flight into Westchester County Airport (HPN) and be just minutes from Tamarack. Newark International Airport (EWR) is also an option but does require travel through New York City to get out to Long Island.

HOTELS - You have no shortage of hotel options for Tamarack, including any hotel in New York City. Those wanting to stay close to the course can look at the hotels in White Plains.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an FEGC member to sign up? Nope! Fried Egg Golf Club members have 24 hours of early registration but everyone is welcome to enter our events. If an event is full, toss your name on a waitlist and we'll fill as people need to drop out.

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

How many spots can I reserve? - Each FEGC member can reserve up to two spots during early registration. Public registrations can reserve up to four spots.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

Can women enter? - Of course! When we said anyone and everyone we meant it.

Can I choose to walk and carry or use a push cart? - No, walking caddies are mandatory in our event at Tamarack.

What is your refund policy? - Refunds can be requested up to 30 days out of the event. Your registration will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee
