Format

Two-person, 36-hole team competition. The team with the lowest scores in Net and Gross throughout the day will win prizes from Fried Egg Golf and our partners. The scores combine your best ball and alternate shot scores. Participation is not required. If you'd like to hangout and play golf for the day, you are more than welcome to do so.

Course Information

The Country Club - While Brookline may claim the most well known moniker of "The Country Club," William Flynn's design in Cleveland more than lives up to the name. Built in the Golden Age and restored in recent years by Gil Hanse, TCC is the best golf you can find in Northeast Ohio. With a varied landscape, eye-popping ground movement in sections of the course, and deep historical roots to the area, The Country Club is a must see when traveling the great golf state of Ohio.

Around The Country Club

Be a thrill seeker - For the adrenaline junkies, Cedar Point is widely considered the best amusement park in America and is just an hour west of Cleveland.

Visit a Hall - The Pro Football and Rock and Roll Hall of Fames are both in and around Cleveland. The Pro Football HOF is down in Canton but it's just a short drive away.

Watch the Guardians - Our event falls smack in the middle of a big home stand for the Cleveland Guardians. The Padres are in town from August 14-16 and then the Giants come into town for August 18-20.

Travel Information

Airports - Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is your best option for getting to The Country Club.

Hotels - Anywhere in the Cleveland metro area will be a reasonable drive to The Country Club, including for those of you who wish to stay downtown. For those that want to stay closer to the course, The Embassy Suites, Courtyard Marriott Cleveland Beachwood, and Homewood Suites Cleveland-Beachwood are all just around the corner. There are also plenty of Airbnb's and VRBO rentals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an FEGC member to sign up? Nope! Fried Egg Golf Club members have 24 hours of early registration but everyone is welcome to enter our events. If an event is full, toss your name on a waitlist and we'll fill as people need to drop out.

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

How many spots can I reserve? - Each FEGC member can reserve up to two spots during early registration. Public registrations can reserve up to four spots.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

Can women enter? - Of course! When we said anyone and everyone we meant it.

Can I sign up for an add-on without being in the main event? - No. Participants in the add-on rounds must be registered for full event on Monday.

What is your refund policy? - Refunds can be requested up to 30 days out of the event. Your registration will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee
