Format

Two-person, 36-hole team competition. Our round on October 21 will serve as a "practice round" and then the competition will kick off on October 22. We will have both Gross and Net competitions for all participants. Please note that participation is not required. If you'd like to hangout and play golf for a couple days, you are more than welcome to do so.

Wild Spring Dunes - Tom Doak's latest design with Michael Keiser Jr. brings a North Carolina flair to an East Texas landscape. A varied property that works itself around, off, and up "Mt. Baldy," Doak's design at Wild Spring Dunes brings a distinct Texas feel.

Around Wild Spring Dunes

Fall means football season. Whether you want to see an NFL game or college football game after our event, you will have your pick!

New York Giants @ Houston Texans - On Sunday, October 25, the Giants visit Houston for a Noon kickoff.

Texas Longhorns - If you want to visit Austin ahead of our event, you have options both before and after our days at Wild Spring Dunes. Florida is in town on October 17 to play the Longhorns and Ole Miss rolls in on Saturday, October 24.

Texas A&M Aggies - A&M also has a home game on October 17 against Citadel.

Travel Information

AIRPORTS - George Bush Houston International Airport (IAH) and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) are both about 2 hours and 30 minutes away. You could also look at flying into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) but it is about 4 hours from Wild Spring Dunes.‍

HOTELS - We have a room block set up at The Fredonia Hotel in Nacogdoches. Following registration, all participants will receive a link to reserve their rooms. The Fredonia is about a 20 minute drive from Wild Spring Dunes. This isn't a requirement, but it is the best option in town and we will have our closing dinner at the hotel on Thursday night.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sign up as a single? - Yes! Historically, about 30-40% of our fields are singles who we pair up based off similar skill levels and competitive interest.

Is there a handicap requirement? - Absolutely not. There is a pace requirement, but as long as you play quickly we are happy to have anyone and everyone participate in our events.

Are we walking or using carts? - This is a walking only event. Please note that Wild Spring Dunes does not have carts available.

Can women enter? - Of course! When we said anyone and everyone, we meant it.

What is your refund policy? - Refunds for the Wild Spring DunesEvent are available up to 30 days prior to the event. Your registration will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee. After the 30-day deadline refunds can only be issued in the case of emergencies unless the spot is filled by someone else from the waitlist or otherwise.
