With Boston about to get its first-ever Michelin guide, the bar has been raised all over town, and the menu options have me inspired. So I've got a couple of questions for you:

Oh, Canada! 🍁

Based on my experience in other golf forums, Canada usually has its own region, so we’ll cast a wide net to start out! :)
I’m in Toronto, near the epicenter of some of our nation’s best golf (St. George’s, Lambton, Weston, Islington, etc.). While our season is unwinding, would love to see my fellow Canucks get active here over the winter months (misery loves company).
While Canada is sometimes overlooked from an architectural standpoint, we have some of the highest golf participation rates anywhere in the world! Would highly recommend a trip up here, especially at current FX rates.

Rodney Dangerfield Fazio
We can only have so many sand scrapes, template holes and potato chip greens before it gets old. Don't get me wrong, I love Doak, C&C, Ross et al. as much as anyone, but I have yet to play a Fazio course that I didn't greatly enjoy.
The Fazio tree also produced Mike Strantz and Jackson Kahn, which is something to be thankful for.
I would love to see a few Fazio courses profiled here even though I'm sure they'll get 0 eggs.

Neil Crafter is your man for a day to day recounting of MacKenzie's 3 months in Australia.
RM paid part of his fee by hiring him out to other clubs for whom he wrote reports - and was involved in the building of the great 15th at Kingston Heath while he was still in Melbourne
He worked with Kingston Heath,Victoria,Metropolitan, Royal Sydney,NSWGC, Royal Adelaide and Royal Queensland. The Australian too I think.

Got out to Langston on this beautiful day. They’re still keeping it up nicely, best I’ve seen the place play in March ever. It played pretty easy to score, dormant rough played very straightforward, greens very soft, bunkers were outstanding. Pro shop is out of merch and Gatorade though. Wanted to share incase anyone was unsure if NLT was paying for maintenance over the past couple months, they definitely have. Hope they can continue. 🤞
I hit every club in my bag today, which is something I do regularly at Langston but hardly ever anywhere else.

Kansas Golf Recommendations For Late June

I have been in KC a couple years now and here are the places I enjoy -
Sand Creek Station in Newton, KS
Shawnee CC, Topeka, KS- Ross course- was private and now public.
Falcon Lakes, Basehor, KS- just outside of KC.
Macdonald Golf Course, Wichita, KS- former home of the Wichita CC.
Sycamore Ridge, Spring Hill, KS - just outside KC.
Excelsior Springs GC, Excelsior Springs, MO- NE of KC.
Also quite a few sand green courses in the area if that is something you want to check out.
Too bad Swope won't be open.

I just posted this in Eggquarters but i wanted to alert you all directly. This spring, we are working with Intown Golf Club to bring together Fried Egg Golf Club members around the country. Intown offers upscale locations with simulators and great food & beverage options. You typically have to be an Intown member to access their facilities, but we are excited to off that access to you all simply for being FEGC members.
To kick off the year, we have set up four meetups in areas around the Midwest and East Coast for you to get some swings in, meet fellow FEGC members in your area, and help get the golf season kicked off in style. The first one will be Nashville on Thursday, March 19 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. One of your fellow FEGC members is helping us host. We'll have food, drinks, and two simulators reserved for up to 20 FEGC members. This meetup will be during the first round of the NCAA Tournament so it will be the perfect time to hit some shots and watch some golf.
The cost is $60/person.
If you are interested in joining, please respond here or shoot me an email! We will finalize payments in the coming weeks. We do need to have final totals for each event by 7 days out of each event so the Nashville deadline is coming up very soon.

I've built out a pretty cool way to display all of the information but now need to fill out the architects and their relationships so everything maps out properly.
